Background InformationCD177 is a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked N-glycosylated cell surface glycoprotein. CD177 contains two UPAR/Ly6 domains. CD177 is highly expressed in normal bone marrow and weakly expressed in fetal liver. Neutrophil-specific CD177 is a heterophilic binding partner of PECAM-1 (platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1). This interaction mediates neutrophil transmigration.
-
Amino acid sequenceThe target protein is expressed with the sequence (Met1-Gly407) of human CD177 (Accession #NP_065139.2.) fused with a Fc, 6×His tag at the C-terminus
-
HandlingCentrifuge the vial prior to opening.

UsageFor Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
-
PropertiesHuman proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
