DescriptionHot Start Taq DNA Polymerase is a mixture of Taq DNA Polymerase and an aptamer-based inhibitor. it can be antibody based or chemical blocked. The inhibitor binds reversibly to the enzyme, inhibiting polymerase activity at temperatures below 45°C, but releases the enzyme during normal cycling conditions, allowing reactions to be set up at room temperature. This aptamer-based hot start does not require a separate high temperature incubation step to activate the enzyme. Taq DNA polymerase possesses a 5´→3´ polymerase activity.

Techniquedna, Thermus Aquaticus or TAQ polymerase is a very robust enzyme that lacks endomuclease proof-reading. bioma TAQ has a far higher yield that other polymerases. TAQ is perfect for verificative PCR in an agarose gel. The bands in which positive primers and a negative control are included need to be compared to a DNA 100 bp molecular weight ladder. For proofreading mixes with pfu are required. It is supplied in 1
