Scientific context
Rabbit anti-Bovine IgG (H&L) is a secondary antibody which binds to Bovine IgG (H&L) in immunological assays.
-
Notes
Antibody purity is > 95% based on SDS-PAGE.Affinity purified using solid phase Bovine IgG (H&L).Antibodi is supplied in 10 mM Sodium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2.0.05% (w/v) Sodium Azide is added as preservative.Based on IEP, this antibody reacts with: · heavy (gamma) chains on bovine IgG · light chains on all bovine immunoglobulins. Based on IEP, no reactivity is observed to: · non-immunoglobulin bovine serum immunoglobulins.

About
Rabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by agisera. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. agisera adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long.
