Keratinocyte Growth Factor, Fibroblast Growth Factor-7, HBGF-7, Heparin-binding growth factor 7
A potent mitogen for keratinocytes and epithelial cells
Purity by SDS-PAGE
The ED₅₀ as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by KGF-responsive BaF3 cells is 1 x 10⁵ units/mg.
Physical form description
Lyophilized without additives
Reconstitute in PBS to a concentration of 0.1-1 µg/µl. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.
FGF-7, also known as Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF), is a potent mitogen for keratinocytes and epithelial cells. Recombinant human FGF-7/KGF is an 18.9 kDa protein containing 163 amino acid residues.

For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
