• Specificity and cross reactivity
  CD22 Recognises human CD22, a 130/140kD cell surface glycoprotein which is expressed by cells of B-lymphocyte lineage. _x000D__x000D_CD22 is differentially expressed during B cell maturation. Initially, CD22 is expressed in the cytoplasm of pro-B and pre-B cells and then on the cell surface of mature B cells. CD22 expression is lost upon terminal differentiation to plasma cells. CD22 functions as an adhesion receptor, for leucocytes and erythrocytes, and a signalling molecule which may play a role in B-cell activation.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
