• Specificity and cross reactivity
  TREM-1 This item recognises mouse triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1 (TREM-1), a 30kD member of the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed on neutrophils and a subset of monocytes. TREM-1 is involved in the microbial inflammatory response. It acts in conjunction with the adaptor protein DAP12 to activate neutrophils and monocytes, leading to the secretion of pro-inflammatory mediators and enhancement of the inflammatory response. Microbial infection also induces the release of soluble form of TREM-1 from monocytes, which is reported to act as an inhibitor of TREM-1. _x000D__x000D_TREM-1 mediates the septic shock pathway, and blocking TREM-1 has been reported to reduce inflammation and increase survival in certain models of bacterial infection. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

  Store the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. only. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. the antibody should be stored undiluted. Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided.   This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. This is against a protein of mus musculus directed antibody.
