• Specificity and cross reactivity
  Recognizes an ~400kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of rat Bassoon. Additional bands between 97 and 400kD are also identified and are reported to be proteolytic degradation products of Bassoon. By immunoctyochemical analysis, this antibody displays a punctate distribution on cultured hippocampal neurons similar to that seen for synaptophysin. Species Crossreactivity: mouse.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
