Background of the antigenCalcium channels mediate the influx of calcium ions into the cell following membrane polarisation. R-type calcium channels such as Cav2.3 belong to the "high voltage-activated" group and are blocked by nickel. The calcium channel consists of a complex of alpha-1, alpha-2/delta, beta, and gamma subunits in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. Each of these proteins exists as multiple isoforms, either encoded by different genes or arising from alternative splicing of transcripts. Cav2.3 is an alpha-1 subunit and has 24 transmembrane segments, which form the pore through which ions pass into the cell. Calcium channels containing the Cav2.3 subunit may be involved in the modulation of firing patterns of neurons, which is important for information processing.

PropertiesFor facs or microscopy Alexa 1 conjugate. Alexa Fluor 633 is a practical alternative to APC as well as Cy5. Bioss Primary Conjugated Antibodies. ALEXA FLUOR made this Alexa Fluor 633 conjugate that can be used in multi-color flow cytometry with instruments equipped with a second red laser or red diode. It is detected in the FL4 detector of the core's upgraded 2-laser FACScans. Like other Alexa Fluor dyes, the Anti-CACH6/Cav2.3 exhibits uncommon photo stability, making it an ideal choice for fluorescent microscopy. If you buy Antibodies supplied by Bioss Primary Conjugated Antibodies. ALEXA FLUOR they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
