Species reactivity
N/A; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
Chlamydia species LPS LPS, Genus specific. Reactive with elementary bodies from C. trachomatis serovars L2, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K. Cross reactive with C. pneumoniae and C. psittaci; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Form Appearance
Purified, Liquid
-
Concentration
100ug/ml (OD280nm, E^0.1% = 1.3)

Storage and shipping
Keep the antibody after aliquoting at -20 degrees Celsius. Cycles of freezing and defrosting may denaturate the polypeptide chains of the antibodies, thus reducing their activity. It is recommended to minimize such cycles as much as possible.
-
Tested applications
EIA/ELISA, Immunofluorescence Assay, Immunohistochemistry - Paraffin
-
Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
-
Description
Monoclonals are usually produced in mouse as host species and polyclonals in rabbit or goat. Multi species reactivity is achieved by selecting consensus epitopes when blasting the gene for a reactive, innugenic epitope that is the same in the different target species.
