Specificity
Based on immunoelectrophoresis and/or ELISA, the antibody reacts with whole molecule human IgG and with the light chains of other human immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The antibody has been tested by ELISA and/or absorbed to ensure minimal cross-reaction with bovine, horse and mouse serum proteins, but it may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
-
Purity
Purified from antisera by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads. Labeled with Alexa Fluor 488 carboxylic acid.
-
Form
Alexa Fluor 488, Lyophilized Reconstitute with 0.8 mL distilled water and centrifuge if not clear.
-
Concentration
1.5 mg/mL (Prior to Lyophilization) Fluorophore/Protein Ratio: 1.5
-
Storage_stability
Store lyophilized product at 2-8 degree C. After reconstitution, product is stable for approximately 6 weeks at 2-8 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution only prior to immediate use. For extended storage after reconstitution, we suggest the addition of an equal volume of glycerol (ACS or better grade) to make a final glycerol concentration of 50% followed by storage at -20 degree C, with or without aliquoting. Please note that the concentration of protein and buffer salts will decrease to one-half of the original after addition of glycerol. Expiration date is one year from date of reconstitution.

Tested_application
ELISA (EIA), IEP
-
Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
-
Test
MyBioSource supplies antibodies that are for research of human proteins.
-
Latin name
Capra aegagrus hircus
-
Properties
Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.

About
Immunoglobulin gamma, IgG, mouse monoclonal H&L chain clones or rabbit, goat polyclonal antibodies have 4 parts. There are 2 heavy chains, 2 light chains. The IgG antibody has 2 antigen binding sites. They represent 70% or more of serum antibodies. This antibody can be antigen purified or protein A or G purified. For storage sodium azide is added or you can call us to request azide free antibody preparations. These will need colder storage temperatures.

Host
Goat, The goat polyclonal antibodies are directed against human genes or rabbit or mouse IgGs (H +L) chain primary antibodies and conjugated for detection. It are very good secondary antibodies that are affinity purified and have a good affinity themselves too. Often KLH is coupled to the antigen so anti KLH can be present in the vial.
