The antiserum was produced against synthesized phospho-peptide derived from human Synuclein-alpha around the phosphorylation site of Tyr136.

The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using phospho peptide. The antibody against non-phospho peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-phospho peptide.
Specificity

Synuclein-alpha (Phospho-Tyr136) Antibody detects endogenous levels of SNCA only when phosphorylated at Tyr136.
