  SMAD7 is a member of the MAD-related family of molecules. MAD-related proteins are a recently identified family of intracellular proteins that are thought to be essential components in the signaling pathways of the serine/threonine kinase receptors of the transforming growth factor beta super family.
• Immunogen
  A portion of amino acids 195-224 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this SMAD7 antibody.
• Storage
  Aliquot the SMAD7 antibody and store frozen at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized.
