Lyophilized from 10 mM Tris-HCl, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 8.0 and 5 % D-mannitol, 0.1% CHAPS.Product is recommended to reconstitute with deionized water to initial concentration.
  • Storage_stability
Store at -20 degree C in lyophilized form (-15 to -30 degree C allowed). After reconstitution protein solution should be stored at -70 degree C (-65 to -80 degree C allowed).Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. It is recommended to aliquot the product after reconstitution. To prepare diluted samples of sTfR it is recommended to use 10 mM Tris-HCl, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 8.0 and 5 % D-mannitol, 0.1% CHAPS. Such samples should be frozen until use.Do not freeze after reconstitution, if concentration is below 0.1 mg/ml.
  • Description
The receptors are ligand binding factors of type 1, 2 or 3 and protein-molecules that receive chemical-signals from outside a cell. When such chemical-signals couple or bind to a receptor, they cause some form of cellular/tissue-response, e.g. a change in the electrical-activity of a cell. In this sense, am olfactory receptor is a protein-molecule that recognizes and responds to endogenous-chemical signals, chemokinesor cytokines e.g. an acetylcholine-receptor recognizes and responds to its endogenous-ligand, acetylcholine. However, sometimes in pharmacology, the term is also used to include other proteins that are drug-targets, such as enzymes, transporters and ion-channels.
