Filter description
These filters contain no binders or other additives causing interference to sensitive enzymatic or chemical reactions. The microfiber filters are particulary advantageous to laboratory filtration by enabling fast filtration of large volumes and difficult solutions without premature clogging.

Filter general application
Gravity Flow Filtration and sample preparation
-
Filter specific application
Filter papers Std-Grd 151 / 100C are designed for retention of very extremly fine particles down to 0,7 µm. The retention is comparable to membrane filters and providing higher rate flow and loading capacity. They are used for the filtration of fine precipitated proteins, nucleic acid filtration and difficult biochemical solutions. Also used in combination with Himedia141 as a retentive pre-filters to extend the saturation of membrane filters. They are recommended in Toxicity Charecteristic Leaching Procedures testing for evaluating solid wastes and in Environmental Protection Agency methods.
