Specificity and cross reactivity
Reacts only with alpha smooth muscle actin and does not react with actin from striated muscle (alpha-sarcomeric) and myocardium (alpha-myocardial). It also does not react with beta and gamma actins. Species crossreactivity: Human, mouse, porcine, baboon, rabbit.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Lyophilized powder may be stored the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Stable for 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, pH 7.4, to concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml.. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Aliquot and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
