    Outer membrane protein A
  • Other name
Recombinant SALTI Outer membrane protein A Expressed in E.coli
  • Synonym
    Recombinant Outer membrane protein A
  • Little description
Our Outer membrane protein A is a recombinant SALTI protein expressed in E.coli with His-tag
  • Expression system
    E.coli
  • Origin species
    SALTI
  • Conjugation
    His-tag
  • Storage
For long term storage, keep the Recombinant Salmonella typhi Outer membrane protein A frozen at -20 or -80 degrees Celsius. Working aliquots can be stored at +4C for a few weeks. We recommend cycles of freezing and thawing to be avoided, as they will most certainly denaturate the polypeptide chains of the protein.
  • Shipping
The SALTI Outer membrane protein A is shipped on ice packs.
  • Description
Associated membrane protein types are lipopolysaccharide selective barriers. Biological membranes include cell membranes, outer coverings of cells or organelles that allow passage of certain proteins and nuclear membranes, which cover a cell nucleus; and tissue membranes, such as mucosae and serosae.

  • Short name
Recombinant Salmonella typhi Outer protein A
  • Technique
Recombinant, E. coli recombinant proteins are genetic recombinations in Escherichia coli, supplied as white sterile powder lyopillized. SAB advises they will be reconstituted in a buffer soluion or culture medium for cell culture.

  • Disease
Salmonella typhimurium, enteriditis and Salmonella paratyphi antibodies or media detect this rod-shaped (bacillus) gram-negative bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae family. The two species of Salmonella are Salmonella enterica and Salmonella bongori. Salmonella enterica is the type species and is further divided into six subspecies that include over 2500 serovars. S. enterica subspecies are found worldwide in all warm-blooded animals, and in the environment. S. bongori is restricted to cold-blooded animals particularly reptiles. Strains of Salmonella cause illnesses such as typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, and food poisoning (salmonellosis).
