HeatLabile Double-Strand Specific DNase (HL-dsDNase)
- Description: HeatLabile Double-Strand Specific DNase (HL-dsDNase) is an endonuclease that cuts phosphodiester bonds in DNA to produce oligonucleotides with 5' -phosphate and 3' -hydroxyl terminus. HL-dsDNase has a high specific activity and is prone to thermal inactivation. In the presence of Mg2+, the enzyme specifically recognizes and degrades dsDNA and is at least 5,000 times more active against dsDNA than ssDNA, while ssDNA and RNA remaine largely intact. The enzyme was irreversibly deactivated after reaction at 55°C for 5min, and the stability of RNA and ssDNA was maintained. At the same time, the enzyme is compatible with the reaction buffer of M-MLV and AMV, so it can be applied in the reverse transcription reaction to remove the contamination of genomic DNA and improve the reverse transcription efficiency.
