• Reactivity: Human
• Storage Conditions: May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Specificity: Recognizes the sequence of Human b-Amyloid [1-40] in the region from amino acids 15-30. No blocking activity was observed with b-Amyloid [1-12], whereas the peptides b-Amyloid [14-35], b-Amyloid [15-28] and b-Amyloid [17-30] were all able to block antibody activity as well as b-Amyloid [1-40].
