Complement C3, C3d (Complement C3d Fragment, Complement Component C3d, C3/C3d, Complement Component 3, Complement Factor 3, CPAMD1)
- NCBI Gene ID: 718
- Reactivity: Human
- Storage Conditions: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
- Specificity: Recognizes human C3d. In immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion against normal human serum, a single precipitin line is obtained and giving a reaction of full identity with the purified immunogen. Also reacts with fragments bearing common determinants: C3, C3b, C3bi. Does not react with any other proteins component of human serum or plasma. In supernatants of serum containing 10% polyethyleneglycol only a reaction with C3d has been obtained.
