• Storage Conditions: May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

• Specificity: The 19 AA rat D3R peptide showed no significant sequence homology with other dopamine receptors (D1, D2, D4 or D5). It has sequence homology of 100% with mouse (19/19 AA) and 63% with human/monkey (12/19 AA) D3R receptors (1-2). Antibody crossreactivity with D3R from various species is not known
