Adenovirus, Hexon

• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes the hexon antigen of human adenovirus types 1, 5, 8, and 27. Clone 1.B.179 is bi-clonal (a mixture of IgG2a and IgM). Both isotypes are specific for Adenovirus hexon antigen.
