Anti-Complement C9 Antibody Picoband®, Cy3 Conjugate
- Background: Complement component 9 is a protein involved in the complement system. It participates in the formation of the Membrane Attack Complex (MAC). The MAC assembles on bacterial membranes to form a pore, permitting disruption of bacterial membrane organization. Mutations in this gene cause component C9 deficiency. And this gene is mapped to 5p13.1.
- Description: Boster Bio Anti-Complement C9 Antibody Picoband® catalog # A01010-2. Tested in ELISA, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.

- Storage Conditions: Store at -20℃ for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4℃ for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20℃ for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
- Calculated Molecular Weight: 63173 MW
- Observed Molecular Weight: 80 kDa
- Fragment: Rabbit IgG
- Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.
- Applications Notes: Western blot, 0.1-0.5μg/ml
ELISA, 0.1-0.5μg/ml - Subcellular Location: Secreted. Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Secreted as soluble monomer. Oligomerizes at target membranes, forming a pre-pore. A conformation change then leads to the formation of a 100 Angstrom diameter pore.
