Navinci Diagnostics
All ProductsNavinci Diagnostics is a Swedish biotechnology company specializing in advanced spatial proteomics solutions. Founded in 2004 as Olink Bioscience, the company rebranded to Navinci Diagnostics in 2016. Navinci is renowned for its proprietary Naveni® in situ proximity ligation technology, which enables the detection and quantification of protein interactions and post-translational modifications within their native cellular environments .
Core Technology: Naveni® In Situ Proximity Ligation
Navinci's Naveni® technology utilizes a novel approach to proximity ligation, enhancing the sensitivity and specificity of protein detection. This method involves the use of Navenibodies—antibodies conjugated to proprietary oligonucleotide arms—that bind to primary antibodies targeting specific proteins. When these Navenibodies are in close proximity, the oligonucleotides can form a circular DNA structure, serving as a template for rolling circle amplification (RCA). The amplified DNA product is then detected as brightly fluorescent spots, allowing for precise localization and quantification of protein interactions at the single-molecule level .
Product Offerings
Navinci Diagnostics provides a range of products based on its Naveni® technology:
- NaveniFlex Kits: These flexible kits are designed for use with cultured cells, fresh-frozen, and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. They enable the detection of protein-protein interactions and post-translational modifications using fluorescent readouts .
- NaveniBright Kits: These kits offer chromogenic detection of protein interactions, suitable for traditional immunohistochemistry workflows. They are compatible with FFPE tissue samples and provide high specificity in protein localization .
- NaveniPlex: A multiplex assay that allows for the simultaneous detection of three separate targets or protein-protein interactions, providing comprehensive insights into complex biological systems .NaveniBOND RX Kits: These kits are optimized for use with the Leica BOND RX Fully Automated Research Stainer, facilitating high-throughput analysis of protein interactions in tissue samples
