  • Description
The ITIH2, CT (Inter-alpha-Trypsin Inhibitor Heavy Chain H2, Inter-alpha-Inhibitor Heavy Chain 2, ITI Heavy Chain H2, ITI-HC2, H2P, IGHEP2, Inter-alpha-Trypsin Inhibitor Complex Component II, Serum-derived Hyaluronan-associated Protein, SHAP) is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood. Tissue, pathway, proteinase, peptidase, protease ,acrosin, lipoprotein, activator, caspase, trypsin, papain, esterase inhibitors are proteins or receptor ligands or receptor antagonists that bind to an enzyme receptor and decreases its activity. Since blocking an enzyme's activity can kill a pathogen or correct a metabolic imbalance, many drugs are enzyme inhibitors. Not all receptor antagonist that bind to enzymes are inhibitors; enzyme activator ligands or agonists bind to enzymes and increase their enzymatic activity, while enzyme substrates bind and are converted to products in the normal catalytic cycle of the enzyme. Azide Free Serum for cell culture FBS fetal bovine serum. Filtered serum for sterility. The polyclonal serum contains no red or white blood cells or clotting factors; it is the blood plasma not including the fibrinogens. Serum includes all proteins and antibodies not used in blood clotting (coagulation) and all the electrolytes, antibodies, antigens, hormones, and any exogenous substances like drugs and microorganisms. Plasmas on request.
