TMB Solution (500 mL Part A & 500 mL Part B)
TMB (3,3’, 5, 5’ - Tetramethyl - benzidine) is a non-carcinogenic chromogen, which is widely used in ELISA where Horseradish Peroxidase is applied. The product is comprised of two components: TMB Solution 500 mL Part A and TMB Solution 500 mL Part B.
Liquid. 500 mL X 1 (TMB Solution A), 500 mL X 1 (TMB Solution B)
Store both TMB Solution A and TMB Solution B at 4 oC, avoiding direct light. Once mixed use within 2 hours, continuing to avoid direct light.

TMB Solution A contains 20% Acetone, so keep away from sources of heat or flame. TMB Solution is contaminated if colour turns blue - Do not use.

The volume (ml) in milliliters of buffered % w/v solutions at the medium pH are also used for DNA extraction Organic (Phenol-Chloroform) Extraction, Non-Organic (Proteinase K and Salting out), Chelex (Ion Exchange Resin) Extraction, EDTA or PBS aqueous.
Scope note:Hypertonic sodium chloride solution. A solution having an osmotic pressure greater than that of physiologic salt solution (0.9 g NaCl in 100 ml purified water).
