MiTeGen designs, manufactures, and distributes innovative tools and technologies for cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), macromolecular crystallization, X-ray crystallography, and X-ray diffraction. Our products support the structural analysis of proteins, viruses, and small molecule or inorganic compounds, as well as the precise manipulation and measurement of small samples across a wide range of scientific disciplines.

Founded in 2004 by Professor Robert Thorne of Cornell University, MiTeGen was built on the principle of applying physics-based concepts and advanced engineering to solve real-world challenges in the life sciences and related fields.
