Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-4, CCL13, NCC-1, Small-inducible cytokine A13
Chemoattractant for monocytes
NCBI Gene ID #.
NCBI Gene Symbol
Activity (Specifications/test method)
The specific activity as determined by the ability of MCP-4 to chemoattract human monocytes was achieved at 10-100 ng/ml.
Physical form description
Sterile filtered and then lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) sterile solution containing 20 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.4 and 130 mM NaCl.
Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of not less than 0.1 mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored at –20°C for future use.
Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.
For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
