Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-2, CCL8, HC14
Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-2, CCL8, HC14, Small-inducible cytokine A8
Chemoattractant for monocytes
Purity by SDS-PAGE
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood monocytes using a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.
Physical form description
Sterile filtered and lyophilized with no additives
Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other aqueous buffers or stored at –20°C for future use.
Human macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein-2 (MCP-2) is an 8.9 kDa protein containing 76 amino acid residues. It plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue microphages.
Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.
For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
