Eotaxin, C-C motif chemokine 11, Eosinophil chemotactic protein, Small-inducible cytokine A11
A chemokine characterized by its high chemotactic selectivity for eosinophils
NCBI Gene ID #.
Activity (Specifications/test method)
The recombinant murine eotaxin was found to induce chemotaxis of purified eosinophils at concentrations ranging between 100 to 1000 ng/ml.
Physical form description
Sterile filtered and then lyophilized with no additives. The protein may appear as a haze or film that is difficult to see at the bottom of the vial.
Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1 µg/µl. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into buffer containing carrier protein or medium containing serum.
Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.
For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
