    CD50 This item recognises human CD50, also known as Inter-cellular adhesion molecule-3 (ICAM-3). CD50 is an 110kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein which is expressed mainly on resting leukocytes. It interacts with lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) and DC-SIGN, and is involved in the intercellular adhesion of leukocytes and augments CD3 signalling in T-lymphocyte activation. _x000D__x000D_CD50 expression induces cancer cell proliferation and over-expression may contribute to cancer progression. It has also been implicated in limiting HIV-1 replication.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
