- Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
- Specificity and cross reactivityC1q This item recognises human complement component 1, q subcomponent (C1q), a 156kDa secreted protein. C1q associates with proenzymes C1r and C1s to form the calcium-dependent C1 complex, the first component of the serum complement system. C1q is composed of six A, six B-chains and six C-polypeptide chains. Each chain contains a collagen-like region located near the N-terminus and a C-terminal globular region. These regions bind the Fc region of IgM and IgG molecules, initiating the classical pathway of complement activation. C1q deficiency has been associated with lupus erythematosus and glomerulonephritis.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
- Purification methodN/A
- Form AppearancePurified (Purified IgG - liquid)
- Concentration1.0 mg/ml
- Storage and shippingStore the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short-term storage and at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term.Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. the antibody should be stored undiluted. Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided. If there is a precipitate in the vial we recommend you to briefly microcentrifugate it prior to use. Shelf Life: 18 months from the date of dispatch.
