- Species reactivityViral; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
- Specificity and cross reactivityFELINE LEUKAEMIA VIRUS p15E This item recognises an epitope within the amino-terminal domain of both the 20kDa full-length (including intracellular sequence), and the 15kDa truncated forms, of feline leukaemia virus (FeLV) p15e transmembrane envelope protein. _x000D__x000D_Persistent infection of cats with the oncoretrovirus FeLV can result in the non-neoplastic condition known as FeLV-associated enteritis (FAE). Studies have shown strong expression of the major FeLV proteins p15e and gp70 in intestinal crypt epithelial cells of cats with FAE, compared to FeLV-positive cats without intestinal alterations, thereby suggesting a pathogenic role for these envelope proteins/precursors in FAE.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
- Purification methodN/A
- Form AppearancePurified (Purified IgG - liquid)

- Storage and shippingStore the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short-term storage and at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term.Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. the antibody should be stored undiluted. Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided. If there is a precipitate in the vial we recommend you to briefly microcentrifugate it prior to use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of dispatch.
