  • Fragment:

    IgG1, kappa
  • Specificity:

No cross-reactivity with egg white avidin. Affinity (Kd) > 1 x 108 for all MAbs. MAbs bind with high efficiency with different epitopes of streptavidin molecule. MAbs bind to the streptavidin without interfering with the biotin-binding reaction.
  • Applications Notes:

MAbs can be used to localize streptavidin, to amplify signals in immunochemistry, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, flow cytometry and immunoblotting. These mouse anti-streptavidin MAbs applied to the ABC complex, previously bound to the second antibody system allow for further enhancement of signal when anti-mouse antibody conjugate is added. MAbs are effective in immunoadsorbtion procedures of streptavidin - biotinylated protein complexes.
