Human Thymic stromal lymphopoietin Recombinant
Background:
Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) promotes the growth and activation of B cells. It also has wide-ranging impacts on both hematopoietic and nonhematopoietic cell lineages, including dendritic cells, basophils, eosinophils, mast cells, CD4?, CD8? and natural killer T cells, and epithelial cells. TSLP plays a role in the promotion of TH2 responses in lung- and skin-specific allergic disorders, and it also is involved in the blockade of TH1/TH17 responses and the promotion of cancer and autoimmunity.Description:
Recombinant human TSLP is a protein consisting of Tyr29-Gln159 amino acid residue subunits, due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately 25 kDa protein under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. DNA sequence encoding Human TSLP mature chain was expressed in HEK293 cells.UniProt:
Q969D9Endotoxin:
< 0.1 ng/µg (1 EU/µg), using the LAL gel clot method.Purity:
≥ 95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLCFormat:
Lyophilized proteinReconstitution:
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.Shipping Conditions:
Gel Packs or Dry IceStorage Conditions:
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -20°C. Upon reconstitution, store in working aliquots at +4°C for up to one month, or at -20°C for up to six months, in the presence of a carrier protein. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.Calculated Molecular Weight:
Due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately 25 kDa protein on SDS-PAGEFormulation:
Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered 1 mg/ml solution of 20 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.4,150 mM NaCl.
