Tenovin-6

• Description:

  Tenovin-6 is a SirT2 inhibitor and a p53 activator. It is a water-soluble analog of Tenovin-1. Tenovins inhibit the protein-deacetylase activities of SirT1 and SirT2. The IC₅₀ for inhibiting human SirT1 and SirT2 peptide deacetylase activity is 21 μM and 10 μM respectively. Tenovin-6 potently inhibits the proliferation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells.
