MouseStorage Conditions:
The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2- 8 °C.
The fluorescein (FITC) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 °C.
The biotin (BIOT) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 °C.
The R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) conjugate is supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL or 0.2 mg in 2.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 °C. Do not freeze!
The low endotoxin, azide-free (LE/AF) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of PBS. Aliquot and store at or below -20 °C.
Protect conjugated forms from light. Aliquot and freeze the low endotoxin, azide-free product at -20 °C immediately upon receipt. Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.Specificity:
Murine CD30, Mr 52 kDa (core peptide)
CD30 is a type I transmembrane protein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily of proteins.^1,2 Murine CD30 is expressed predominantly in the thymus, and it is inducible in mouse splenocytes stimulated with pokeweed mitogen or concanavalin A.^1 In anti-CD3 epsilon -activated spleen cells, CD30 is expressed primarily on the surface of CD8^+ T cells with peak expression on days 4 and 5. Stimulation of CD30^+ CTL lines with plate-bound anti-CD30 directly signals IL-5 but not IFN- gamma production. ^1 While these studies demonstrate that CD30 directs cytokine secretion and suggest that CD30 may play a pivotal role in the pattern of cytokine production by T cells, the precise roles of CD30 and its ligand (CD153) in T-cell development have not been clearly defined.Other Gene Names:
