• Storage Conditions:

  Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 °C. Stable for 12 months at -20 °C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes human alpha-1 lipoprotein. In immunoelectrophoresis and radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony) against fresh normal human plasma a single precipitin line is obtained which shows a reaction of identity with the precipitin line obtained with purified alpha-1lipoprotein. No reaction is obtained with any other plasma protein component or serum. Does not crossreact with any other component of human plasma.
