• Description:

  AG-120 is a potent isocitrate dehydrogenase type 1 (IDH1) inhibitor, with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon oral administration it specifically inhibits a mutated form of IDH1 in the cytoplasm inhibiting the formation of oncometabolite, 2-hydroxyglutarate (2HG). This leads to induction of cellular differentiation and an inhibition of cellular proliferation
