Storage condtions
Keep the Troponin T Antibody ( JLT12)at minus twenty degrees Celsius for 1 year. The ready-to-use solutions can be stored at four degrees Celsius for a month. Our specialsits recommend to freeze the aliquotes at minus twenty degrees Celsius for long-term application. Multiple procedures of freezing and thawing influence the specifity and reactivity of the antibody in a negative way.

Tips
The Troponin T Antibody ( JLT12) did not cross-reacted with other proteins during the test procedures. This antobdy is intended to be used for research analyses and it is not applicale for in vitro diagnostics.

Background
The troponin complex is located on the thin filament of striated muscle and is composed of 3 component polypeptides: troponin 1, troponin T and troponin C. Three troponin T genes have been described on the basis of molecular cloning in humans and other vertebrates. These are expressed in a tissue-specific manner and encode the troponin T isoforms expressed in slow skeletal muscle(TNNT1), cardiac muscle(TNNT2),and fast skeletal muscle(TNNT3). TNNT1, TNNT2, TNNT3 are located on 19q13.4, 1q32, 11p15.5 respectively.
