• Description
  TBP associated factor 4 is part of the TFIID complex, a multimeric protein complex that plays a central role in mediating promoter responses to various activators and repressors. Potentiates transcriptional activation by the AF-2S of the retinoic acid, vitamin D3 and thyroid hormone.
• Immunogen
  A portion of amino acids 1021-1062 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the TAF4 antibody.
• Storage
  Aliquot the TAF4 antibody and store frozen at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized.
