  Rat, Human (recognizes an epitope localized in the lectin domain of rat surfactant protein D)
• Cross Reactivity
  Reacts with alveolar type II cells, alveolar macrophages, types of Clara cells, SP-A+ and SP-A-, and extracellular deposits. Alveolar type III cells are negative. No reaction on rat skin, colon, kidney or liver. SP-A cross reacitivity is typically evident at very low dilutions.
