DescriptionSplicing factor 1, also known a sSF1, Zinc finger protein 162 (ZNF162), ZFM162, Transcription factor ZFM1, and Mammalian branch point-binding protein (BBP or mBBP), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SF1 gene. It ispredicted 623-amino acid protein. RT-PCR was used to show expression in the thyroid gland, pancreas, adrenal gland, and ovary. All of the isoforms contain a KH domain, a sequence motif present in proteins playinig a major role in regulating cellular RNA metabolism.
-
ImmunogenAn amino acid sequence from the N-terminus of human Splicing factor 1 (DFPSKKRKRSRWNQDTMEQK) was used as the immunogen for this Splicing factor 1 antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
-
StorageAfter reconstitution, the Splicing factor 1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

Additional descriptionAplha, transcription related growth factors and stimulating factors or repressing nuclear factors are complex subunits of proteins involved in cell differentiation. Complex subunit associated factors are involved in hybridoma growth, Eosinohils, eritroid proliferation and derived from promotor binding stimulating subunits on the DNA binding complex. NFKB 105 subunit for example is a polypetide gene enhancer of genes in B cells.
