  • Description
LXR (Liver X Receptor) alpha, also known as NR1H3, is a tissue-specific cofactor that permits RXRA to function as a potent 9cRA receptor with a distinct target gene specificity. It specifically interacts with RXRA in vivo to form a functional heterodimer in which RXRA is the ligand-binding subunit. Additionally, LXR activity is critical for physiologic lipid metabolism and transport.
  • Immunogen
Amino acids 375-398 (QVERLQHTYVEALHAYVSINHPHD) were used as the immunogen for this NR1H3 antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
  • Storage
The lyophilized NR1H3 antibody can be stored at 4oC to -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
  • Additional description
The Anti-NR1H3 (LXR alpha) is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.
  • Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
