Specificity and cross reactivity
A synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 371-390 RKVRFSFEQPDGRAQMPTTE of human caspase-1 was used as immunogen. It will cross-react with mouse and rat Caspase-1, based on NCBI BLAST.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
