SpecificityRecognizes the Melanoma Discriminating Antigen. Stains a minority of primary melanomas and half of the metastatic lesions tested. Rarely stains dysplastic naevi or common cellular naevi. Crossreacts with dendritic cells in inflammatory infiltrates, sebaceous glands and non-cutaneous tumors.
