Storage condtionsKeep the MAP2 Antibody ( HM2)at minus twenty degrees Celsius for 1 year. The ready-to-use solutions can be stored at four degrees Celsius for a month. Our specialsits recommend to freeze the aliquotes at minus twenty degrees Celsius for long-term application. Multiple procedures of freezing and thawing influence the specifity and reactivity of the antibody in a negative way.
-
TipsThe MAP2 Antibody ( HM2) did not cross-reacted with other proteins during the test procedures. This antobdy is intended to be used for research analyses and it is not applicale for in vitro diagnostics.
-
BackgroundMAP2, a 280-kD protein, is highly concentrated in neuronal somata and dendrites. Microtubule-associated protein 2(MAP2)is a neurosteroid receptor. MAP2 gene contains 19 exons, and located in segment 2q34-q35. The transgenic MAP2c was present in dendrites but not in axons but transgenic MAP2c messenger RNA was limited to cell bodies.
