  • How to reconstitute
See included datasheet or contact our support service
  • Storage condition
Non-diluted antibody is stable for 4 years at 2-8°C. For storage at -20°C dilute antibody solution with an equal volume of glycerol to obtain final glycerol concentration of 50 % to prevent loss of enzymatic activity. Such solution will not freeze in -20°C. If you are using a 1:5000 dilution prior to diluting with glycerol, then you would need to use a 1:2500 dilution after adding glycerol. Prepare working dilution prior to use and then discard. Be sure to mix well but without foaming.
  • Verified applications
ELISA (ELISA) , western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry (ICC)
  • Connected products

  • Verified reactivity
    human IgA heavy (alpha chains)
  • Possible reactivity
    human IgA heavy (alpha chains)
  • No reactivity
no confirmed exceptions from predicted reactivity known in the moment
  • Supplementary information
No reactivity is observed to light chains or non-immunoglobulin human serum proteins based in immunoelectrophoresis

  • Scientific context
Goat anti-human IgA heavy (alpha chain) is a secondary antibody conjugated to AP (Alkaline phosphatase) which binds to human IgA alpha chains in immunological assays.
  • Notes
AP conjugate is supplied in 30 mM Triethanolamine, pH 7.2, 5 mM Magnesium Chloride, 0.1 mM Zinc Chloride, 1 % (w/v) BSA, Protease/IgG free. 0.05 % (w/v) of sodium azide is added as preservative

  • Description
The Goat, A heavy (alpha chain), ALP conjugated is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.
  • Latin name
    Capra aegagrus hircus
  • Gene target
    heavy   alpha   chain   ALP   conjugated
  • Gene symbol
    PDLIM3, ASRGL1, ATRNL1, SLPI, CCL27
  • Short name
Goat, A heavy (alpha chain), ALP conjugated
  • Technique
    Goat, antibody Conjugates, goats
  • Host
Goat, The goat polyclonal antibodies are directed against human genes or rabbit or mouse IgGs (H +L) chain primary antibodies and conjugated for detection. It are very good secondary antibodies that are affinity purified and have a good affinity themselves too. Often KLH is coupled to the antigen so anti KLH can be present in the vial.
