DescriptionCDC34, Cell division cycle 34, Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CDC34 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. By in situ hybridization that the CDC34 gene is located in the far telomeric region of 19p13.3, in a region of syntenic homology between human 19p and mouse 11.Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. This protein is a part of the large multiprotein complex, which is required for ubiquitin-mediated degradation of cell cycle G1 regulators, and for the initiation of DNA replication.
-
ImmunogenAn amino acid sequence from the middle region of human Cdc34 (YRKWKESKGKDREYTD) was used as the immunogen for this Cdc34 antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
-
StorageAfter reconstitution, the Cdc34 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
