SGK3 This item detects Serum and glucocorticoid-regulated kinase 3 (SGK3), also known as cytokine-independent survival kinase (CISK). SGK3 is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family and encodes a phosphoprotein with a PX (phox homology) domain that targets the protein to endosomes. _x000D__x000D_SGK3 is activated by the phosphatidylinositol 3'-kinase (PI3K) pathway, and plays a critical role in the hair cycle, functioning to negatively regulate PI3K signalling in hair follicle development and homeostasis. _x000D__x000D_SGK3 also has a role in neutral amino acid transport and activation of potassium and chloride channels.
