This protein is found at the centrosome in interphase cells and at the spindle poles in mitosis. _x000D__x000D_Recent studies have revealed that Aurora A Kinase is frequently overexpressed in various human carcinomas, which would suggest that this protein may be involved in tumorigenesis.
